Ermanno Militi was born and raised in Messina, Italy. He attended the L’Oreal Beauty School in Messina before relocating to the United States. After settling in the Los Angeles area, Ermanno continued his studies in cosmetology at the Institute of Beauty. His hard work quickly returned him to the top echelon of hair stylists in the region, just as he enjoyed in his native Italy.
Ermanno has owned and operated a chain of very successful salons including a hair academy. He is a master hair cutter, stylist and colorist. His expertise has been showcased in many hair shows including one in which Clint Eastwood was the guest of honor. Ermanno has also appeared the KABC show Daybreak L.A. and Eye on L.A. He and his salons have served many other celebrities including: Richard Chamberlain, Michael Landon, Rick Dees, Peter Marshall and Marylou Henning. He is the recipient of many awards and has been published in several magazines.
Ermanno lives and works in Palm Desert. As an active force in his community, Ermanno is: a charter member of the Warner Center Kiwanis Club and charter member of Indian Wells Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Full Gospel Business Men International and is an active member of Desert Springs Church in Palm Desert. He has offered his time and expertise in organizing benefits and fund-raisers for the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Kiwanis Club of Warner Center & many others.
Ermanno is the father of three, is an accomplished artist in sculpting, painting and drawing. Additionally, he completed his B.A. degree in Art at Cal State Northridge and is still vibrant and active at age 81.
Ermanno attained,boxing in Seniors division, World Amateur Champion Masters Division.
